Clementine Trussel is beginning to suspect that Mr Gout has not told her everything...

A realisation that becomes unavoidable on her very first night as his apprentice.

Paranormal investigation is not quite what she was expecting. Abermwyl, the small Welsh fishing village she now calls home, is quiet to the point of suspicion, and her arrival has not been welcomed with open arms. Mr Gout is distracted, and his ancient housekeeper, Mrs Winchester, has made her displeasure abundantly clear.

When a tragic shipwreck brings a mysterious survivor ashore, strange events begin to ripple through the sleepy village. Clementine cannot shake the feeling that something else may have come in with the tide — something that prefers to remain unseen.

As unease grows, Clementine becomes increasingly aware of a watching presence, and in the woodshed behind the cottage where she is staying, she senses that she is not quite as alone as she should be.

Something in the Woodshed is the second instalment in Trussel & Gout: Paranormal Investigations, a cosy supernatural mystery series filled with eccentric characters, gentle humour, and small, unsettling mysteries where curiosity is often rewarded — and occasionally tested.

This is a short listen of approximately 2 hours.
