Wame Molefhe

Wame Molefhe is a Botswanian author and journalist. She is best known for her collection of short stories, "Go Tell the Sun" (2011).

Wame Molefhe was born in Francistown, Botswana, and has lived most of her life in Gaborone. Molefhe started writing short stories in 2005. In 2008, she left her full-time job to write.

Her collection of short stories for children, Just Once, was published in 2009, and her other stories have appeared in anthologies and journals.

Most of her stories are set in contemporary Botswana. They trace the lives of characters whose paths cross and intersect. They are gentle and unassuming, yet intimate and engaging.

She also writes travel articles and has written for TV documentaries and radio.
