Jeremy Thomas Fuller

Jeremy Thomas Fuller is an American author of fantasy and science fiction. He is best known for The Metalwood Saga (2025), a young adult science fiction and fantasy epic set in a dystopian future. He also works as a game designer, graphic designer, software developer, and music composer.

Jeremy Fuller developed an early love for fantasy literature after reading Lord Foul’s Bane in seventh grade. “There’s something about magic and mayhem that has interested me ever since,” he has said.

His creative work spans multiple media, but writing remains a central passion. The Metalwood Saga is his most ambitious project to date. It is planned as a ten-book series blending dystopian themes with fantasy and space opera elements.

Set above a ravaged Earth, the story begins in Newfris, a floating city powered by ancient technologies. Its protagonist, Phoenix, is a former assassin hunted for using forbidden magic. Forced into hiding, she joins the Gearheads, an outlaw group surviving in the mechanical depths of the Under.

As Phoenix fights to protect her son Rylan, she discovers that Newfris is not a sanctuary but a prison. Hidden forces—ancient elves known as the Eldrim and their enemies, the Cothellon—manipulate events across worlds. Central to the conflict is the Metalwood, a mysterious source of power shaping entire galaxies.

The saga follows Phoenix, Rylan, rebel ally Trey, and the elven archer Arra as they travel between planets and face decisions that could save or destroy their universe. Themes of memory, legacy and resistance run through the series.

When not writing, Fuller spends time with his sons, sings along to Disney songs and avoids horror films involving chainsaws. He describes the Bay Area as a place "where the sun is intermittent and the Planners haven't found us—yet."

Jeremy Thomas Fuller lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
