Andrew-Henry Bowie

Andrew-Henry Bowie was born in Edinburgh in 1973. He had a difficult early life and adolescence in which football always played a major part. In 2008 he published his first book, Two Miles to Tynecastle, an autobiographical account of his troubled childhood, hapless personal life and unerring passion for Heart of Midlothian Football Club, which received critical praise. The Death of Mr. Grumble is Andrew-Henry’s third published work but his first novel. Today, Andrew-Henry lives in East Lothian with his wife Lesley, and his children, Jude-Lauren and Theodore.
