The company Sirius works at pays absolutely miserable wages, expects ungodly working hours, and doesn’t actually produce anything or bring any benefit to the world. But, hey, it has a smoothie bar.

It seemed like the founders were more concerned with covering the whole globe on their ‘our team’ website than actually doing a good job. “One last question,” he said with a dangerous glint in his eyes. “Imagine you are working here, and you open the fridge in the communal kitchen. There is yoghurt with a best-before date that passed yesterday. What do you do? A: Throw it away. B: Eat it. C: Ask if anyone else still wants it.”

Sirius just looked at him, feeling dead inside. “I’m lactose intolerant,” he said.
