Patrick J Pead

Patrick J Pead spent over thirty years as a scientist working on the diagnosis of human microbial diseases followed by research in molecular microbiology and immunology. His interest in the origins of vaccination began in 1985 as a result of a chance discovery of an inscription on the gravestone of Benjamin Jesty in Dorset, England. During 2011 Patrick was awarded Fellowship of The Historical Association and was elected as a Member of The Royal Historical Society in the same year.
