Cristina Wolf

Cristina Wolf is an American author renowned for her contemporary romance novels. Her debut adult novel, How to Write a Rom-Com, was published in 2025. The book was praised for its humour, charm and relatable characters.

She wrote her first book in Year 4, an illustrated adventure about her beagle, Abby. She graduated from Marist College with a double major in Business and English.

She earned a Master of Science in Publishing from New York University and subsequently worked in literary agencies and publishing houses. She later returned to New Jersey to earn a Master's in Teaching at Monmouth University. She now teaches English at a middle school.

How to Write a Rom-Com centres on Lucy Bowen, a woman disillusioned by failed relationships. She works at Heartwarming, New York's largest romance publisher. When a bestselling author threatens to leave Heartwarming, Lucy is sent on a research trip to a small lakeside town. There, she meets Liam, a sceptical restaurant owner. The story unfolds against the backdrop of quirky small-town life, following the development of their attraction.

Wolf said, “I cannot express how excited I am to be working with Aubrie Artiano and the Head of Zeus team on my contemporary romance series.” She described the novel as “a love letter to my favourite genre”.

Editorial director Aubrie Artiano said that Wolf's writing is "heartfelt, with characters that are flawed, funny and deeply relatable". She compared the book to Virgin River and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Outside of writing, Cristina Wolf enjoys spending time with her dogs, Zoey, Winnie and Mabel; exercising on her Peloton; and reading in her hammock.
