Alexandre Dumas

Alexandre Dumas padre è stato uno scrittore e drammaturgo francese.

Maestro del romanzo storico e del teatro romantico, ebbe un figlio omonimo, Alexandre Dumas, anch'egli scrittore. Le sue ceneri furono trasferite al Panthéon di Parigi il 30 novembre 2002.

È famoso soprattutto per i capolavori Il conte di Montecristo e la trilogia dei moschettieri formata da I tre moschettieri, da Vent'anni dopo e da Il visconte di Bragelonne.
