Fiore Manni is an Italian author of children's novels. She is best known for Jack Bennet e la Chiave di Tutte le Cose (2018), which won the Asti d’Appello Junior Prize. She is also the co-author of the graphic novel Mask'd (2020).
Fiore Manni was born in Rome on 7 October 1988. She is the daughter of Fiorenza Tessari and Alberto Manni, and the granddaughter of Lorella De Luca and Duccio Tessari. She grew up in Rome and won a scholarship to the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), where she studied fashion design. She completed a specialist degree in men’s design.
While studying at the IED in 2011, she was selected to present the television programme Camilla Store on Super!, which was produced by Magnolia and DeA Kids.
From 2013 to 2016, she worked with De Agostini, publishing several titles connected to the programme. These included Lo stile dei tuoi sogni (2013), Lo stile giusto per ogni occasione (2015), La tua collezione di moda (2015), Disegna con Fiore (2015), Stilista con Fiore (2016) and Il diario di Fiore (2016). She later gave up television to focus on writing full time.
On 22 May 2018, she published her debut young adult novel, Jack Bennet e la chiave di tutte le cose, with Rizzoli. This was followed by Jack Bennet e il viaggiatore dai mille volti in 2019. In 2020, she co-wrote the graphic novel Mask'd with her husband, Michele Monteleone.
In 2021, she published Nel buio della casa, also co-written with Monteleone, and Come le cicale (Like Cicadas), a novel about adolescence. The story explores the challenges of growing up and experiencing first love through the eyes of Teresa, a girl who feels left behind as her friends evolve around her.
The novel was first published in Italian in 2021 and in English in 2024.
