Gono’s first day at West High School feels like stepping into an entirely different world. The grand red exterior and bustling students are a stark contrast to the simplicity of the orphanage he once called home. Newly adopted by wealthy but unkind parents who mock his nightly struggles with a small bladder, Gono faces a lonely and challenging start.

Determined to make a good impression, Gono navigates the unfamiliar hallways, searching for his classroom and hoping for a fresh start. Along the way, he encounters two other newcomers: Koryu, a sharp-tongued loner with a defiant attitude, and Gojyo, a carefree and mischievous redhead. Their paths collide in unexpected ways, leading to an unlikely bond that begins to form in the chaos of first-day jitters.
