Line Kyed Knudsen is an author known for her children's and young adult books. Over her career, Knudsen has written approximately 50 books, exploring various genres, including daily life, friendships, love, and mysteries through series such as Stella, Love, Love Not, and K for Klara.
Line Kyed Knudsen was born in Gentofte, Denmark. Educated at Copenhagen Business School with a master's degree in Human Resource Management, Knudsen initially embarked on a career in creative leadership before dedicating herself to writing. Her background includes roles as a copywriter and writing instructor.
She debuted in 2003 with the first book in the fantasy trilogy "Pigerne fra Nordsletten," aimed at readers aged 7–12.
Her work has earned her the Carlsen Prize and the Orla Prize in 2021, notably for the "Naja Münster" series. Her latest publication is "På et slot" (2023), part of the "Read with Naja Münster" series, showcasing her ongoing appeal to young readers.
Her venture into science fiction with "The Dead Awaken" in the "White Dust" series illustrates her versatility, presenting a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by zombies.
Her narratives often center around young female protagonists navigating the trials of growing up, echoing Knudsen's experiences and observations.
