SKILL #01:
WITNESSING THE INNER VOICE
Most people assume the constant mental commentary is who they are. A foundational skill is to notice that a stream of thoughts, judgments, and rehearsed dialogues is occurring—and that you can be aware of it. The shift from “I am the thinker” to “I am the one noticing thinking” creates instant psychological space.
With practice, simply labeling this stream as “mental narration” (without arguing with it) weakens its grip. This witnessing stance reduces reactivity because you are no longer fused with every opinion or worry that arises. Over time, identification loosens, creating room for calmer, wiser responses.

SKILL #02:
MICRO-MOMENTS OF AWAKENING
Inner awakening is rarely one giant explosion; it is usually a collection of subtle recognitions—brief seconds where you notice tension, a thought loop, or an emotional surge as it forms. Each micro-moment caught early prevents hours of downstream rumination.
Set a gentle intention: several times a day, pause and ask, “What is passing through awareness right now?” This question punctures autopilot, training your attention to return again and again to the present witnessing position.
