Kiera Cass’s #1 New York Times bestselling Selection series has captured the hearts of readers from its very first page. Now the end of the journey is here. Prepare to be swept off your feet by The Crown—the eagerly awaited, wonderfully romantic fifth and final book in the Selection series.
In The Heir, a new era dawned in the world of The Selection. Twenty years have passed since America Singer and Prince Maxon fell in love, and their daughter is the first princess to hold a Selection of her own.
Eadlyn didn’t think she would find a real partner among the Selection’s thirty-five suitors, let alone true love. But sometimes the heart has a way of surprising you…and now Eadlyn must make a choice that feels more difficult—and more important—than she ever expected.

Well....Eadlyn proved me wrong. She’s not a brat, that’s FOR SURE. She just needed more experiences in life. And she needed her EIKKO 🥺 that guy.... is as sweet as a freshly baked muffin. To see how all the stories from America and Maxon, to Aspen and Lucy, to Marlee and Carter, and finally to Eadlyn and Eikko, turned out in a happily ever after is so satisfactory. I love all of the characters of this beautifully made series (except the king and Marid). I know is not like a classical reading like pride and prejudice or one of Shakespeare’s novels, but those books will have a special place in my heart, that they’ll forever have. And I know If I have a bad day, I can reread them and fall in love with Maxon, ALL OVER AGAIN.

I have very high standards for these types of men, and I don’t regret it.

“Fine,” I responded calmly. “You’re fired.”

Finding a prince might mean kissing a lot of frogs. Or kicking a lot of frogs out of your house. Falling might mean running headfirst into something you always wanted. Or dipping your toe into something you’ve been scared of your whole life. Happily

But the truth is, love is as much fate as it is planning, as much a beauty as it is a disaster.
