Two friends and colleagues at Newcastle University are creating a pill called compound Y that will improve the quality of life for most amnesia patients around the world. Confident in their creation the scientists test the drug on themselves but to disastrous effects. Martin Gardener finds himself out cold and when he awakens he has a headache that he can’t explain.
