The Wayward Wife

A finely spun, suspenseful, psychological thriller full of deceit, drama and suspense, this story centres around a restless, married woman whose obsessive affair on the side turns out to be more than she bargained for when her lover dies under mysterious circumstances. A secret woman by nature, she succeeds in avoiding getting involved in a murder scenario being developed by the police. But the more intricate the web she weaves around her innocence, the more she draws attention to her secret underlife and estranges husband and daughter. The evidence can go both ways, but her distant past — elegantly hidden from friends and family — comes to light and weighs heavily against her. She cannot avoid a trial but, fighting with the weapons of a desperate woman with her back to the wall, she brings the trial to an end in a way no one could reckoned with.
