Arthur Schopenhauer

Government

This is a book about the morality which underpins government. Schopenhauer (1778–1860) was a German philosopher who based a lot of his ideas on the writings and ideology of Immanuel Kant. He was among the first to reject the contemporary German idealism of his time. His work is important as it has influenced many scholars and artists such as Jung, Freud, Tolstoy, Hesse, Proust and Wagner among others.
