My Friend's Hot Mom: Sweet Reward

The sequel to Sweet Revenge! When Bret first hooked up with Lori, it was meant to be a hot fling. Six months later, their secret affair is no longer just about lust but love. Now that Lori is more than a milf with benefits, Bret knows they need to tell his mom, and Lori's son, Josh. Will they understand that what started as Lori's sweet revenge on her cheating ex has become an even sweeter reward?

~~~~~ PG Excerpt ~~~~~
“Josh will be in Boston tomorrow and I want you to spend the night.”
“Lori, we talked about this.”
“I want you in my bed.”
“But here we don’t have to worry about anything.”
“Having a man spend the night in your bed is a very intimate thing, Bret. Motels, a place like this? That’s what people having affairs do.”
“I know we’re not cheating on anyone,” Bret chose his words carefully. “But you said this is just about fun.”
“It was, I mean it is but,” Lori paused. “Would you send roses to someone who’s just a bed buddy?”
Bret looked down at their hands, unsure of what to say.
“Those roses could just be a nice gesture from someone who has affection for me.” She spoke quietly. “Affection can be between good friends or people who mean more.”
“If it’s the last thing, flowers are more than a nice gesture. They say things like something beautiful for someone beautiful.”
“Yeah,” It was right there. This was it. Time to be a man and do the right thing by saying the right thing.
“Unless,” she continued when he couldn’t pull the trigger. “That was just a line from a smooth bartender looking to put a smile on a friend’s face.”
“I like to make you smile,” he still couldn’t meet her gaze.
“I’m putting you in a corner. Maybe doing it to myself to.” She slid off the bed, and leaning over, found the dress and slipped it over her head.
“Lori, don’t be mad.”
“I’m not mad but maybe it’s not the right time for this conversation.”
He tried not to let the relief show on his face.
“Good, and I think you’re right.”
“You’re so mature I forget you’re still a kid and I don’t mean that in a bad way, just that there’s a huge difference between us in life experience.” She frowned. “And a lot of other things.”
“I know what’s going on,” he pushed himself to look her in the eye.
“Bret,” she placed her hand on his cheek. “Let’s stop for now.”
“I just don’t want you to walk away upset. I wanted to make you happy today.”
“You did, baby,” this time her smile seemed genuine. “In many ways, and one of them is something I’ve been thinking about lately.”
“You have? Are we talking about the same thing?”
“Down to neither of us want to come out and say it? Could be.” She kissed him before he could speak again.
“I want you to come over tomorrow night. I know your mom’s going to be home so park on the next street and come through the back, so she won’t see the car.”
“Sounds like what people who are cheating on someone do.”
“Ouch,” Lori winced. “I’ll make dinner, you’ll spend the night and see where it takes us.” She lowered her eyes. “But if you decide not to, then we’ll meet here.”
“Same thing, no?”
“If you think it’s the same, then this is where we’ll meet.” She pointed to her watch. “You need to get dressed, baby. You have to get home.”
“Fine."
“My turn to say I don’t want you to be upset,” Lori told him. “I love the flowers, we had amazing sex, and then we had a reality check, but it could be a good thing.”
“You think?”
“We were going to get there sooner or later.” Lori watched him grab his clothes from the floor. “But one way or another things will be fine between us.”
“How do you know?”
“It’s the point of tomorrow,” she answered. “Like the saying goes, when you know, you know.”
