HOMO SAPIENS II continues to narrate the history of our specie
Our species Homo sapiens; Where we came from and how we developed…
Probably, the questions of the Universe, religion, their place in our life appear in the mind of any thinking person. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: All people are born free and equal.
The Founding Fathers of America envisaged almost everything. But even they could not have foreseen that society would change so much. Simple-thinking people have come to power through elections. People with different ideas than the Founders Fathers on freedom, right, and wrong has become the majority. They seek to tax everything and divide it among the people. Democrats have gone from defending slavery to promoting socialism and are moving farther to the Left. For the sake of power, they are ready to destroy the Constitution. They want to lower the age limit of voters to sixteen and give illegal immigrants and felons the right to vote.
The ideology, though I prefer the word, religion, of communism has once again reared its ugly head, and the uneducated citizens demand the redistribution of wealth throughout general society.
All people are born equal and free. That is true in one sense. But I always thought this statement was somewhat naive and pathetic because some people are born healthy and wealthy while others are poor and sick. There are persistent inequalities. Smart and not so bright. Lucky and unfortunate. Some are born in an ethical and free country. Others are born in a terrible third-world country where is no freedom and no food. Some have a lovely family where the children are loved and cherished. Others live in an unhappy family where children are seen as a burden. The dichotomies are endless.
Social inequalities greet us from the day of birth and accompany us throughout our life journey. There are racial, national, gender, physical, and intellectual differences in addition to social inequalities. Our lives are affected by our unique talents, demographics, birthplace, and many other factors.
Some receive dividends from inherited wealth or gains made by their efforts; others live day-to-day through the sweat of their brow. Also, some cannot work, and some do not even wish to work at all.
All these social inequalities have led to the stratification of society. Many of those who have been less fortunate in the social hierarchy belong to minority groups in many modern states, gaining more government seats. Their voices are getting louder and more demanding.
We cannot turn back time and redo our mistakes. The freedoms for which those minorities have fought for many years are today's reality. All these groups together are becoming the majority in total population; our planet's future is in their hands. For better or worse, it is up to our descendants to deal with it. They must go down this unexplored path. Whether they will defend traditional values or invent others, we do not know. What awaits our society tomorrow? Civil war, chaos, or something even worse? As we leave, we wish them good luck and pray for them, even the nonbelievers.
