Mind Bulb provides readers with information, strategies, and a common sense approach to dealing with mental health issues that stand in the way of people meeting and exceeding their potential. Topics include: possible stressors, triggers, familial relationships, life changes, and gaining or loss of fortune and fame.

The book is geared towards those individuals that are responsible for the well-being and success of professional athletes, celebrities, those in the public eye, and everyday people.

The author's intent is to de-stigmatize mental health issues and encourage openness and dialogue. Issues addressed in the book include: suicide, depression, promiscuity, violence, substance abuse, and isolation.

The hope is that by shining a light on these high profile struggles, ordinary people will seek out support without the fear of being labeled or stigmatized.

Author Lena Pearlman, LCSW has been involved in the mental health field for 20 years. In addition to being a full-time forensic social worker, she is an adjunct professor, and is in private practice.
