This book kept me up all night 😘❤😍
😍❤
I usually don’t usually read romance. I have always found myself pulled into the fantasy, mystery and adventure sections, mostly because of their strong willed female characters. Even though this book certainly was interesting, the idea of having women prancing around for a male’s attention has never been an appealing idea to me. Regardless, characters like America, Celeste and even Queen have drawn me in, with their strong iron-like personalities.
I must say though, for my first romance book it certainly was worth it. I loved how the world building was done, especially the numbering system and the tensions with the Northerners and Southerners. I’m very intrigued seeing as thought this book has added many elements I never really expected in the romance genre which is why I decided to pick it up.
Books like this have ideas geared outside the box these are the types of books that change the writing scene, creating new ideas and shedding light to different perspectives. I’m honoured to have read something as carefully crafted as this.
fucking Great book, i love it
finished in less than a day lmao
mad respect 💕
Touching novel for girls who haven’t lost their faith in fairy tales.
I mean with every part of my heart.... that i love this book so much. This is my second time reading it and I can admit is my “comforting book”. Hell yeah, I could reread it over and over hahah. I admire America so much. The way she treats people and treats herself. The last quote uffff that’s the vibe I want. And don’t get me started with Maxon and Aspen. Tough choice you have America, oof.
Between us, pfff who do I lie, I love Maxon. Thanks Kiera Cass for making characters like him, and setting my standards way higher.
Really loved this book! I laughed a lot and I couldn't stop reading, I had to read it.
Amazing
👌🏻👌🏻
I really loved this book! I actually finished the entire book in one day! I would recommend it to teens, cant wait to read the rest of the series
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This book is so amazing, I loved
This is a great book. In my opinion, everyone interested in ya should read it.
Made me think of alot of scenarios that are impossible for me. Would gladly like to read over and over again.
I guess, choosing Kiera's series to read during the quarantine was a wonderful decision. I've swallowed the first book in 3 days and feel nothing but genuinely happy. As I'm also engaged in Euripides rn, this story was like an oasis of soft giggles and extravagant garments in the desert of never-ending irony elaborately embroidered within the characters' tragic fates.
So, wanna have fun and leave all of the issues behind - The Selection is for you!!
Definitely a sort of YA series but I couldn't help but love it. It really reminded me of when i first started reading and why.
My favorite book I have ever read!!
I'm a girl who lover hard edges, but this series made me appreciate the soft gestures. Maxon is the first ever sweet man that has taken a quite bit space in my heart. This is very worthy to be read. I bet this book can pick up mjonir.
I remember reading this book for the first time and I immediately read the sequels. Then I just kept reading and reading, when I had finished the series I directly began reading the first book again.
I’ve heard a lot about this series and finally gave it a go. I’m glad I did! I loved the setting of society into castes. I would have loved to have read more about that. Despite it being a competition between girls the book still managed to be engaging and exciting. I felt empathy for America (the MC) at the end. Worth a read!
I forgot how books like this could have the ability to transport me out of my reality. It's super cute.
