My family and I are all natives of Colorado, which is rare in our world today. I am blessed with a wonderful loving husband who I met later in life. Between us we have a blended family of 6 kids and 5 grandkids!
I finally decided at 62 that I was going to follow my passion of writing. I started writing in my teens and continued throughout my adult life. The stories that spoke to me as a child were Dr. Suess, as I loved the rhythmic nature of the stories and they had some sort of lesson at the end.
I had written some stories about my daughter’s dachshund Noodle because she was such a unique dog. She did the funniest things, and she was so loving that she made friends with animals and humans alike. She inspired me to write again. Unfortunately, her untimely death is what convinced me to publish.
Although this book is fiction, it is based on a lot of her real relationships in life. Beginning with my daughter Lauren. Noodle was blessed to have one of the best “Moms” in the world and had more beautiful experiences in her short 6 years of life than most people have in many years of life.
I hope you enjoy sharing the love and laughter she brought into our lives every day.
