Until the day his little brother was attacked by Rufus the cat, and he lost his family to mouse traps. Now all on his own, Nick learns just how despised a little mouse can be. With his Christmas joy gone, and his search for a new home continuing, Nick meets Jason, a kind-hearted boy who accepts Nick as the mouse he his and brings him home.
