This concise book summarizes over thirty Medicine Wheels and describes briefly meanings and applications. The Medicine Wheel is a metaphor that can be used as a guide on any life journey. Although there are variations between Indigenous tribes in its representations, the underlying purpose of the sacred circle is to stress the importance of appreciating and respecting ongoing interconnectedness and interrelatedness of all things. The Medicine Wheel drawing simply begins by making a circle and joining four points on the circle. Each Medicine Wheel in this collection is illustrated and principles are provided to give guidance to the reader. Understanding the Medicine Wheel, helps one establish a relationship with their spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional experience. This is achieved by describing how to sustain balance and respect in our lives and in our communities.
