“I really hate that you had to go through all of this. Your life must have been hell. I’m really sorry Suzie, I should have come look for you sooner.”

He peeled off my underwear and flung it to the ground.

“Thank you Asher,” Dr Catherine smiled.

I managed to walk to the hand dryer, trying my best to make it dry off the remaining water on my body but it was hopeless.

Elliot looked at me in disbelief. “I can’t agree with you on that Suzie. No matter how much they’ve changed or despite all the goods things they’re doing for you, it doesn’t excuse what they did to you in the past, it’s just horrible.”
My heart melted as I gazed at Elliot. I could not comprehend how a complete stranger was cared about me this much. Why was he acting like this towards me? Even my own mates did not care about me as much as Elliot did.

Elliot’s words left me stunned and I could feel what was coming next. I snapped my head and immediately saw that Blair, Roy and Felix were already rushing to pounce on Elliot.
With one swift movement, I jumped between them and Elliot, and they immediately came to a halt.
“Get out of the way Suzie, I’m going to rip this fuckers throat,” Blair roared.
“No, can you all stay back? I’m going to go take Elliot back to the hospital.”
“We’ll come with you,” Asher said and reached out to grab my hand.
I moved away from him and grabbed a hold of Elliot’s hand. “I’m going alone,” I said firmly.
They all froze and I didn’t bother waiting for them to speak before I breezed out of the door, while still holding Elliot’s hand. I held on to him without looking back and we walked all the way back to the hospital.
