In the third story, Red the tomato notices that the produce in Freshville is looking wilted. He and his friends — Cuke, Berry, and Ban — set out to investigate and discover problems in various areas. They find out that an “Invisible Mite” is causing the issues. With the assistance of Professor Hootenanny, a wise old owl, they create a natural repellent to fight the mites. The plants recover, and the city celebrates with a feast, grateful for their teamwork.
