George Donohue is one of the preeminent real estate executives in the United States. He has over 30 years’ experience in managing and negotiating domestic and international transactions.
He has held top leadership positions in very well respected private companies as well as government institutions.
A highlight of Mr. Donohue’s career was his tenure as the top executive supervising the real estate transactions for the original World Trade Center which was one of the largest and most high-profiled portfolios in the world.
Mr. Donohue has managed many assets such as industrial parks, high tech office parks, retail assets and office towers.
He also has in-depth experience in mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Donohue has been involved with cross border acquisitions in the $250,000,000 + range.
This book was voted one of the top 10 real estate books in America.
He has three academic degrees; an Associate’s Degree in Construction Management; a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and a Master’s Degree from NYU in Real Estate Development and Finance.
He has lectured on many subjects most notably about real estate and negotiating at Harvard, MIT, Baruch, Touro College, Long Island University, Fordham Universities and many other institutions and associations both in the United States and abroad. Mr. Donohue has also been called into various court cases as an expert witness for real estate matters.
Mr. Donohue has been selected to teach negotiating to many well known and prestigious entities such as the City of New York's Real Estate Department.
