Young hadrosaur Toki, known for his curiosity and occasional forgetfulness, is entrusted with a vital responsibility: guarding the valley's life-giving waterhole while his herd migrates from coming storms. Alone but determined, Toki faces challenges—loneliness, unruly boars muddying the banks, and a fierce rainstorm threatening to flood the water source. He learns resourcefulness, building barriers with stones and negotiating with the boars, while kindly aiding thirsty animals. When the herd returns, they find the waterhole pristine and thriving. Toki earns a second river-stone necklace, symbolizing his growth into a responsible guardian who kept his promise and protected the heart of the valley for all.
